Delgermaa is a celebrated Mongolian poet, writer, and editor. She has published several poetry collections and is a recipient of Mongolia’s prestigious Golden Feather Award in Literature.

In 2025, she made her fiction debut with The World of Shakundala, a novel that explores love and the inner lives of contemporary Mongolian artists and intellectuals. The narrative intertwines their emotional and psychological journeys with the timeless poetry of the ancient Indian poet Kalidasa, creating a lyrical dialogue between past and present.

Delgermaa’s literary range also extends to children’s literature. Her first children’s novella was published in 2021, followed by two picture books. She was a fellow in the Children’s Book Creation Fellowship Program 2023 organized by The Asia Foundation Mongolia, during which she authored a picture book forthcoming from Enchanted Lion Books.
